Mr.Tyler Perry
I just got home from the movie viewing for 'For Color Girls'. As a man, I have to say thank you for this movie. God has His hands on you! This is the most powerful movie that I have seen. Black men you need to see this movie!! This movie will make you stand up or come clean with yourself!!! Our sisters have gone through enough, they deal with our issues when they have so many issues of their own to deal with everyday, without having to tip-toe around and deal with our demons Now more than ever I see how strong our African American women are to have to deal with their issues and to find the time and strength to deal with men and our issues, come on Bros, stand up and lets change!!! These things have happened only because of us "MEN" Mr. Perry Thank You!!! You are a True Blessing! What I got out of my true over view of this Great movie and as A father of three beautiful Girls I want to cover them all the more yet expose them to the reality that life brings in the form of the good and the bad is this is a challenge but a challenge I'm willing to tackle! So I need other black men to step up as the leader that God has made us to be and Lead our children in the correct path and know that we or the mentors that lead them first after birth second to God's Blessing on their life! I think you make a very compelling point in this movie Although, the characterizations of the AA black man, are for the most part negative, minus the character played by Hill Harper, it suggests that perhaps more women should give some praise to the actual black men in their lives that are striving to become the man God has called them to be. It is an unfortunate imbalance that exists, so I would encourage women to salute the black man who is making a difference and for us a black community to raise up a child in the way that he should go, thus to say raise young boys into young men who can be a shining example to others. This way the imbalance will one day be balanced and eventually, this sad and unfortunate truth will not be the perception nor the reality. Thank you Mr.Perry
