A lot of things have gone wrong for me in my life (not half as much as yours though, I must admit!) However, you seem to have turned your hardships around and create something so positive. My question is this: do you think that some people are born with that drive to succeed, and others are not? Or do you think that positivity and drive can be learned?
ReplyDeleteDrive is apart of our DNA but we just have to reach deep within ourselves to find our purpose our purpose will give us that drive because drive is passion and passion the will to go through the pain and endure through. Its like driving through a storm at some point you will make it through!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the book review...was brought to tears on occasion! So I know God had his hand; in yours as you created this masterpiece!

Congrats on your book!
ReplyDeleteYou have been a wonderful friend and filled with wisdom. I enjoyed the excerpts I read. I can't wait to read the whole book! I wish you the best and nothing but blessings are in your future.
After reading this great book on my flight, i honestly enjoyed every second of it. The chess illustration was wonderful as well as the different stories u told about ur childhood. I see that u have endured alot, and i see now why you r so successful in everything u touch, think r imagine. May God continue on with what he has in store for you, and i look forward for ur next upcoming book. God Bless!!!

After reading this Particular Chapter Over and Over...... Talk to the king in the Man!~! it was rough on a Sistah Real Talk. Its not that a woman doesn't want to Give Her Man that Authority its just the initial tools to do so have been lost in the Hustle and Bussle of Life that we live today....BUT AFTER reading Geesh i've been forced to RECONSIDER..imagine that! LOL
